June 4th - Red Line For Palestine

Here are my photos from the "Red Line for Palestine" emergency demo organised by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign. The group surrounded the Houses of Parliament with people wearing red during the Prime Minister's Questions (AKA as the PMQs) to "demand a full arms embargo and sanctions on Israel". Despite one pro Israeli person threatening to "smash my camera" and "crack my head open" almost instantly, it was a very peaceful protest from the Palestinian. After about 15 minutes from the start of the demonstration people went around declaring that Parliament had been surrounded which then quickly erupted into cheers. There was also a surprise appearance by the Red Rebels which certainly made for some interesting pictures. c
