June 9th - All Eyes On Deck Demo, Arrest & Aftermath

Here are my photos of the "all eyes on deck" demonstration that took place outside of the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. The emergency demo was organised last minute to put pressure on the UK government to demand the release of the "flotilla 12". The 12 activists were attacked and detained on international waters by the Israeli military despite the fact that it was an aid mission and they were completely unarmed. This protest was very peaceful until some Metropolitan police officers aggressively arrested a protester. Here are my photos of that protester and the aftermath of the arrest. With officers shoving me and other photographers, bystanders and protesters. Which erupted into pushing and shoving from both sides for a few minutes before it died down.
