August 28th - PETA Meatopia Protest, Wapping

On the opening evening of the 2025 Meatopia festival, PETA activists barbecued a "dog" and sold samples. In an interview one activist said "Well look, when it comes to an animal what really matters is their sentients. They are able to feel stress, pain fear. A cow is a chicken is a dog is a pig. If people are horrified by the concept of eating a dog than they should extend that compassion to other animals and go vegan." something which they got their point across to in my opinion to some in line. However, some did make some funny comments one that stuck out to me was someone saying, "I am not Asian", "I am not Korean" a at the very least a snide comment, at worst a racist one.
