May 26th - Defund Transphobes Demo

Here are my photos of the Defund Transphobes demonstration outside of Tate Modern. This protest had ten trans women standing outside nude from the waist up from 12pm to 2pm. They did this to expose the hypocrisy in the Supreme Courts ruling on what a woman is, Under the new laws they are classified as men and thus it is not public indecency although, members of the public did disagree. It was a very peaceful protest with a few hecklers here and there the most notable being some foreign students shouting "pedos" and there was one man of who said that they should all be killed under his breath but besides that, no issues. The public engaged in lots of conversation with the group which was nice to see as while some did express the fact they did not agree with the demo they did not going straight to hating something they do not understand and tried to see it from another point of view.
